VILLAGE REAL ESTATE LAUNCHES PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL MARKETS

September 17, 2008

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sept. 9, 2008 - Village Real Estate Services has launched a new division, Village Property Management (Village PM), to help residential property owners achieve higher property performance and profitability.

According to Mark Deutschmann, CEO of Village Real Estate Services, Village PM staff will work with developers, homeowners and investors of lofts, condos, town homes, and single-family homes to ensure their property is well managed to attract tenants and have a positive tenant retention.

"Village has 185 agents representing 64 percent of the urban market and they get daily requests for long-term and short-term rental properties," said Deutschmann. "Village PM complements our existing network of comprehensive client services and further establishes Village as the premier real estate resource in Nashville."

For property owners, Village PM provides current market condition and pricing information with monthly updates, tenant screening contracts and other forms, vacancy control and property inspections. Other services include rent collection, accounting, reporting and maintenance repair. Village PM also provides a smart alternative to house sitters, including weekly walks/visits, lawn care, cleaning and bill paying.

Village PM's licensed Realtors give renters research and access to the best homes and condos for rent in Middle Tennessee at the best price. Village PM offers a safe and secure Web site for paying rent and can monitor maintenance and repairs.

Sheena Buntyon is director of Village PM. She has studied real estate trends across the country. Locally, she developed her passion and skills for property management while working with Freeman Webb Co. and then Giarrantana-Novare Group, working on such projects as The Virdian and the Bennie Dillon. Buntyon is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors and the Nashville Civic Design Center.

"Village PM understands the market, the needs and the risks, and we know the landlords and tenants," Buntyon said. "All those elements combine to make Village PM a powerful resource that meets our clients' property management needs. No matter where our clients are, we're here for them 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Located at 2206 21st Ave. S., Suite 200 in Nashville, Village PM currently manages 46 units including single-family homes, apartments and condos in the Davidson, Williamson and Wilson County area. More information about Village PM can be found at www.vrespm.com.
