SMITH SECKMAN REID HIRES CLAUDIA AUTRY, ANDY NGUYEN AND KENNETH PALMER IN THE FIRM'S SOUTHWEST DIVISION

HOUSTON, Texas. - Sept. 24, 2008 - Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), an engineering design and facility consulting firm, has hired Claudia Autry as a senior project manager and senior electrical engineer, Andy Nguyen, P.E., as a senior electrical engineer and Kenneth Palmer as an electrical engineer in the firm's Southwest division.
Autry will be responsible for the design of lighting systems, emergency power systems and power distribution for all health care related projects in the firm's Houston office. Previously, she worked as an associate for Burns DeLatte McCoy. Autry holds a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from University of Texas at Austin and is also a LEED ® Accredited Professional.
Nguyen will be responsible for lighting system, emergency power system and power distribution design in the firm's Dallas office. Prior to joining SSR, he worked as an associate for Meinhardt Consulting. Nguyen holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas in Dallas.
Palmer will be responsible for lighting system, emergency power system and power distribution design in the firm's Houston office. Prior to joining SSR, he worked as an electrical engineer for Carter-Burgess in Fort Worth. Palmer holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lamar University in Beaumont.
