Downtown Partnership Recognizes CityLiving Lunch Tours
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the past two years, Village Real Estate Services' CityLiving Team has been reaching out to empty nesters, young couples, professionals, hipsters and the young-at-heart, and introducing them to downtown residential life through a series of unique lunchtime tours of lofts, condos and townhomes.
These tours reinforce Village Real Estate Services' commitment to the revitalization and preservation of Nashville's urban core; its desire to build the urban resident population; and its quest to help create a sustainable, walkable, metropolitan area where Nashvillians can live, work, play and invest.
Nashville Downtown Partnership recently gave the Outstanding Achievement in Downtown Residential Development award to Mark Deutschmann, founder and CEO of Village Real Estate Services, for the CityLiving Lunch Tours.
"Mark is the leading expert in Nashville's urban living and continues to foster the growth of our urban core through his knowledge and support of our mission," said Tom Turner, president and CEO at the Nashville Downtown Partnership. "The tours not only show Nashville's residential options, they also help market growth in our urban core."
Village Real Estate's CityLiving Team focuses on urban living within Nashville and offers a unique selection of lofts, condos and townhomes. Deutschmann and his team, working with developers and others in the real estate industry, are revitalizing urban living in Nashville with residential options that include the Icon and Velocity in the Gulch, MC3 of East Nashville and The Lofts at Werthan Mills in Historic Germantown.
The CityLiving Lunch Tours introduce these residential options to the community and prospective residents while providing them access to experts in all aspects of property buying in a low- or no-pressure environment.
"Our tours are one of the best ways to discover the newest developments in our city and for the past two years it has been an opportunity to sample a property without feeling pressured. These tours are especially useful for those working in the downtown area and answers the question of what is available," Deutschmann added.
Tour participants see available floor plans and furnished and unfurnished units. A real estate expert leads the tours and explains amenities, floor plans, pricing and the number of available units. The tours end with a catered lunch and the opportunity to ask CityLiving Realtors about specific properties. Properties recently toured include Rolling Mill Hill and the Icon in the Gulch and the MC3 development in East Nashville.
Laura Gifford, a Crieve Hall area resident, recently participated in the MC3 lunch tour because she "wanted to see options on urban living in Nashville, specifically the East Nashville neighborhood."
Trevecca University urban studies professor Don Kintner often brings his students to look at new urban developments, using the lunchtime tour program as an extension of the classroom.
"I am glad to see these neighborhoods on the up-swing, being rehabilitated and reinvigorated," Kintner said.
"Our focus is to foster the development of Nashville into THE up-and-coming urban area," said Deutschmann. "Showing people the living options that exist and sharing the vision for downtown Nashville with them is one way to foster that development and create a vibrant and pulsating urban center."
Upcoming CityLiving Lunch Tours include: - 4th & Monroe in Historic Germantown, Oct. 24, Noon - Resale Lofts & Condos in the Downtown Core, Nov. 7, Noon
