NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Chuck DiRocco, managing director of Industry Trends and Analysis at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Washington, D.C., will present Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2009 during the ULI Nashville District Council program, 7:30-9 a.m., Friday, Dec. 5, at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
The December breakfast program will also include a panel discussion with local housing, banking and real estate professionals participating. Panel members include Eddie Latimer, Affordable Housing Resources CEO; Jim Schmitz, Regions Bank Middle Tennessee area executive; and Nate Greene, NAI Nashville managing partner.
DiRocco will share research from ULI and PricewaterhouseCoopers' Emerging Trends in Real Estate forecast publication which provides an outlook on real estate investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas and other real estate issues in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
"This is the longest-running report of its kind and extremely thorough in its breadth of exploration into real estate markets," said Bert Mathews, president of the Mathews Company and chair of ULI Nashville District Council. "The ULI program will give attendees good insight into the real estate and development marketplace, from the national trends forecast to a panel of local experts reflecting on what they see for Middle Tennessee in the coming year."
This is the 29th year for the highly regarded publication that surveys real estate executives and market experts around the U.S., including gathering survey responses from more than 400 real estate executives and conducting personal interviews with more than 150 leaders.
Both ULI members and non-members are welcome to attend. Registration for the Emerging Trends in Real Estate program is available online at http://nashville.uli.org or by calling ULI Nashville at 1-800-321-5011. The event fee includes a copy of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2009 publication.
