SSR EMPLOYEE MIKE BERNARD ELECTED TO AWWA BOARD

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Mike Bernard, vice president and team leader with Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), an engineering design and facility consulting firm, was recently elected to serve on the board of the American Water Works Association’s (AWWA) Kentucky/Tennessee Chapter.

The AWWA is a membership organization dedicated to the promotion of safe drinking water. Bernard will serve a five-year term, where he will act as trustee, vice chair, chair-elect, chair and eventual past-chair.

In addition to his position with the AWWA, Bernard, who has been with SSR for more than 13 years, continues to promote safe drinking water by serving as a project manager for the two largest membrane filtration water treatment plants in Tennessee.
